Brené Brown

It is the season again! This is the time of year where many of us find ourselves busy preparing our homes, kitchens and families for the holidays. In the busyness, it is often easy to forget why we celebrate the way we do.

Brené Brown defines a value as "a way of being or believing that we hold most important."

Which values do you want to live this festive season? Click To TweetThis week, I have been thinking about what the next week would be like if I was to live my core values of courage and connection. What would it mean to deeply connect with the people I love? What would I set aside? Which rituals might not support such a connection?

As I write this, I know that I will be making a new Christmas wish list this year - it will be my "how would I behave this year to stay in integrity with my values" list. It feels good to realize that this list IS what will make my wishes become realities.

I wonder which values you hold? How might you realign the festive season to align with your values?*
